Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust har implementeret to mobile operationsstuer for at opretholde patienternes adgang til tjenester under renoveringen af to af deres permanente operationsstuer.<\/p>\n

De vil give hospitalets kliniske team et klinisk arbejdsmilj\u00f8, mens deres operationsstuer er ude af drift. De mobile operationsstuer, som har laminar flow-ventilationssystemer, der leverer ultra-ren luft, der er egnet til invasive kirurgiske procedurer, vil v\u00e6re p\u00e5 stedet i cirka 26 uger.\n\"A\nMens enhederne er p\u00e5 Trust, vil hospitalets NHS-kirurger udf\u00f8re alle operationer. De mobile operationsstuer vil prim\u00e6rt give kapacitet til ortop\u00e6diske procedurer. Disse er nogle af de mest efterspurgte operationer i det moderne NHS, med over 240.000 procedurer i 2016\/17. Dette er en stigning p\u00e5 over 20.000 i forhold til \u00e5ret f\u00f8r. Efterh\u00e5nden som vi lever l\u00e6ngere, og befolkningen ogs\u00e5 bliver \u00e6ldre, forventes eftersp\u00f8rgslen efter disse procedurer kun at stige.<\/p>\n

Surrey og Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust har taget dette voksende behov i betragtning. Som en proaktiv foranstaltning indsatte de mobile enheder for at forhindre et eftersl\u00e6b af patienter p\u00e5 ventelisten.
