Met een verwachte projectduur van 5 weken en een reistijd van 5 uur naar het dichtstbijzijnde ziekenhuis, werd een noodplan essentieel voor de 35 aanstaande moeders. <\/p>\n<p>Dit initiatief had als doel een reserve-operatiekamer in te richten, om mogelijke complicaties tijdens de bevalling te voorkomen en moeders de lange reis naar Warwick of Toowoomba in geval van nood te besparen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Q-bital - Goondiwindi Installatie | Australi\u00eb\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/863482559?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Het plan<\/h3>\n<p>Als reactie op het verzoek van het ziekenhuis werd een mobiele operatiekamer voorgesteld, compleet met verbindingsgangen die rechtstreeks naar de achteringang van het ziekenhuis leiden. Deze strategische installatie bood een veilige en betrouwbare back-upoptie, waardoor aanstaande moeders effectief geen twee\u00ebneenhalf uur durende rit naar het dichtstbijzijnde ziekenhuis hoefden te maken. Door de klinische dienst uit het ziekenhuisgebouw te verplaatsen, kon het projectteam naadloos kritieke upgrades uitvoeren, met name ter vervanging van HVAC- en medische gassystemen, zonder enige verstoring van de lopende klinische diensten te veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De oplossing<\/h3>\n<p>In slechts 10 weken transformeerde Q-bital op effici\u00ebnte wijze het concept van een mobiele Laminar Flow-operatiekamer in een tastbare realiteit, die op de locatie werd afgeleverd. De volledig uitgeruste faciliteit omvatte verbindingspaden, uitgebreide service- en nutsaansluitingen en een back-upgenerator. Deze snelle inzet zorgde ervoor dat er geen geboorten hoefden te worden doorgestuurd naar verre ziekenhuizen in Toowoomba of Warwick. Gezinnen profiteerden ervan dat de voorziening dichter bij huis was, waardoor een sterker ondersteuningsnetwerk mogelijk werd en de tijdrovende rit van 2,5 uur overbodig werd.
