De behoefte<\/h3>\n

Withybush algemeen ziekenhuis<\/a>, onderdeel van de Hywel Dda University Health Board in Wales, VK, had een oplossing nodig om de pati\u00ebntenstroom te beheren vanwege het grote aantal mensen dat een staaroperatie nodig heeft.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

De Healthcare Space in het Withybush Hospital bood een moderne klinische omgeving die geschikt was voor specialistische oogheelkundige procedures. De uitkomst<\/h3>\n

Door de grotere capaciteit kon het aantal wachtenden op de procedure worden teruggebracht tot 350. Dit was een vermindering van de lijst met bijna 25%. De faciliteit behandelde 850 pati\u00ebnten tijdens de initi\u00eble contractperiode. Leidinggevenden van het ziekenhuis besloten het verblijf van de faciliteit met nog een maand te verlengen om nog eens 175 operaties te voltooien.<\/p>\n

Gordon Wragg, Operations Manager bij het Withybush General Hospital, vertelde ons: \u201cWe begrijpen hoe frustrerend het kan zijn als pati\u00ebnten op een lange wachtlijst staan en het is voor ons als bestuur erg belangrijk dat we ons uiterste best doen om pati\u00ebnten snel en goed te helpen. binnen hun plaatselijke ziekenhuisomgeving. Dit draagt niet alleen bij aan de financi\u00eble stabiliteit voor de Raad van Bestuur, maar ook aan de gemoedsrust en de continu\u00efteit van de zorg voor pati\u00ebnten, van wie velen in dit geval 60 jaar en ouder zullen zijn.<\/p>\n

\u201cOp papier waren de voordelen van het gebruik van een tijdelijke mobiele zorgruimte duidelijk. Tot onze vreugde overtrof het programma onze verwachtingen. Wij beschouwen dit project als een ongelooflijk succes, waarbij de resultaten aantonen dat mobiele gezondheidszorg een aanzienlijke impact kan hebben op de pati\u00ebntenstroom en positieve gezondheidsresultaten.
