{"id":1940,"date":"2017-03-14T13:27:16","date_gmt":"2017-03-14T13:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.q-bital.com\/?p=473"},"modified":"2017-03-14T13:27:16","modified_gmt":"2017-03-14T13:27:16","slug":"birmingham-childrens-outstanding-rating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.q-bital.com\/nl_nl\/birmingham-childrens-outstanding-rating\/","title":{"rendered":"Het Birmingham Children&#039;s Hospital krijgt de beoordeling &#039;Uitstekend&#039;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Het ziekenhuis, nu onderdeel van de Birmingham Women&#039;s and Children&#039;s NHS Foundation Trust, is het enige kinderziekenhuis in zijn soort in het land dat de beoordeling &#039;Uitstekend&#039; krijgt in de relevante categorie.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens hun bezoek in mei 2016 bekeken de inspecteurs de volgende kerndiensten: spoedeisende hulp, medische zorg, chirurgie, pediatrische intensive care, neonatale zorg, transitiediensten, zorg rond het levenseinde, poliklinische pati\u00ebnten en diensten voor geestelijke gezondheidszorg voor kinderen en adolescenten.<\/p>\n<p>De trust scoorde als &#039;uitstekend&#039; voor de vraag of de diensten zorgzaam, effectief en responsief waren en &#039;goed&#039; voor de vraag of de diensten goed leiderschap hadden<\/p>\n<p>De algemeen directeur van de Trust, Sarah-Jane Marsh, is blij dat de CQC het werk van het gespecialiseerde kinderziekenhuis heeft erkend. Ze schrijft het succes van het ziekenhuis toe aan de focus op teamwerk en aan de manier waarop het ziekenhuis innovatie ondersteunt.\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A child patient sits in a ward recovery unit in a mobile hospital at Outstanding rating provider\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-480 size-large\" height=\"1024\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/legacy\/2017\/03\/Child-patient-mobile-hospital-683x1024.jpg\" width=\"683\" \/>\nHet Birmingham Children&#039;s Hospital heeft sinds maart 2015 een Q-bital Visiting Hospital op zijn locatie. Het heeft de Trust voorzien van extra klinische capaciteit, voornamelijk op het gebied van plastische chirurgie, maar ook voor andere specialismen.<\/p>\n<p>De unit is ge\u00efntegreerd met de bestaande gebouwen van het ziekenhuis door middel van een speciaal ontworpen verbindingsgang. Het is echter ook mogelijk om als zelfstandig behandel- en herstelcentrum te functioneren voor dagbehandelingen. Met een afdeling met acht bedden en een hoogwaardige operatiekamer heeft het ziekenhuis waardevolle extra capaciteit voor dagbehandelingen gecre\u00eberd.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Clayton, Clinical Contracts Manager bij Q-bital Healthcare, die nauw heeft samengewerkt met de Trust op de afdeling, merkte op:<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We zijn erg trots op de succesvolle samenwerking met het Birmingham Children&#039;s Hospital. Het is een uitstekende organisatie met een reputatie voor het leveren van eersteklas pediatrische zorg. De uitzonderlijke zorg die de afgelopen twee jaar is geleverd spreekt voor zich.
