Na het succes van een eerste contract, zal een van de toonaangevende medische technologiebedrijven van het Verenigd Koninkrijk een NHS-ziekenhuis blijven helpen bij het uitvoeren van orthopedische procedures tijdens een renovatieproject.<\/p>\n

Q-bital Healthcare Solutions begon aanvankelijk met de samenwerking met Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust<\/a> in maart van dit jaar en was aanvankelijk van plan om een van de mobiele laminaire operatiekamers zes maanden lang in het Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley te stationeren, terwijl de Trust haar huidige orthopedische operatiekamers zou renoveren.<\/p>\n

Het ziekenhuisbestuur bedient een bevolking van 450.000 mensen. Alle orthopedische operaties, zoals heup- en knievervangingen, die normaal gesproken in de operatiekamer van het ziekenhuis (die momenteel wordt gerenoveerd) zouden plaatsvinden, werden verplaatst naar de mobiele operatiekamer.<\/p>\n

Het huidige contract loopt in september af, maar het project is zo succesvol dat de unit in november 2019 terugkeert en tot mei 2020 op locatie blijft, zodat er nog meer renovatiewerkzaamheden bij het Trust kunnen plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n

Ontworpen en gebouwd door Q-bital, de mobiel theater<\/a> De unit biedt een anesthesiekamer, een operatiekamer, een herstelruimte met twee bedden voor de eerste fase, een kleedkamer voor het personeel en technische ruimtes. Een speciaal aangelegde gang en hellingen verbinden het hoofdgebouw van het ziekenhuis met de unit en zorgen voor een vlotte doorstroming voor de pati\u00ebnt.<\/p>\n

Q-bital laminaire stromingsoperatiekamers maken gebruik van HEPA-gefilterde omgevingslucht die voldoet aan klasse A EUGMP, met maximaal 600 luchtverversingen per uur die over de pati\u00ebnt gaan en 25 verversingen van verse lucht.<\/p>\n

Simon Squirrell, Q-bital Regional Manager UK North, legt uit: \u201cWe zijn verheugd om samen met Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust te blijven werken aan dit lopende project.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnze operatiekamers met laminaire luchtstroom bieden alles wat nodig is voor een hoogwaardige klinische omgeving, inclusief HEPA-gefilterde omgevingslucht. Dit betekent dat alle ingrepen die normaal gesproken in een vaste operatiekamer zouden worden uitgevoerd, nu in de mobiele operatiekamer kunnen plaatsvinden.\u201d<\/p>\n
