De reparatiewerkzaamheden aan de vloer op de begane grond van het Tewkesbury Community Hospital zijn begin juli begonnen. Pati\u00ebnten die klinische zorg nodig hebben, worden behandeld in een alternatieve setting in het Cirencester Hospital. De operatiekamer, die zich ook op de begane grond bevindt, zal voor korte tijd gesloten zijn om de werkzaamheden zo snel mogelijk te laten verlopen. Om de impact op pati\u00ebnten te minimaliseren, heeft de Trust een mobiele operatiekamer van Q-bital ingeschakeld in het Tewkesbury Community Hospital. Het kan als een zelfstandige faciliteit functioneren. Q-bital heeft ruime ervaring met het leveren van extra capaciteit aan zorginstellingen tijdens renovaties om de pati\u00ebntenstroom op peil te houden en de hoogste standaarden van pati\u00ebntenzorg te leveren. Tot nu toe hebben er in de units van Q-bital in het Verenigd Koninkrijk meer dan 250.000 ingrepen plaatsgevonden.<\/p>\n<p>Julie Ellery, directrice van het ziekenhuis, zei: \u201cOnze prioriteit is ervoor te zorgen dat we veilige en effectieve zorg leveren terwijl de reparatiewerkzaamheden in het Tewkesbury Community Hospital zijn voltooid. De Q-bital-eenheid biedt een klinische omgeving van hoge kwaliteit.<\/p>\n<p>Pati\u00ebnten die een kleine operatie moeten ondergaan, kunnen blijven gebruikmaken van de diensten van het Tewkesbury Community Hospital. De afdeling biedt ook ruimte voor zes pati\u00ebnten na een operatie om te herstellen.
