De oplossing zal de Trust in staat stellen haar capaciteit uit te breiden om essenti\u00eble dagprocedures aan te bieden en de wachttijden te verkorten.<\/p>\nDe oplossing maakt het mogelijk om pati\u00ebnten op te nemen en te ontslaan zonder de kliniek te verlaten, wat bijdraagt aan infectiepreventie en een betere pati\u00ebntervaring. Het omvat zowel een standaard operatiekamer als een operatiekamer met laminaire luchtstroom, en de ingrepen zullen volgens een roulatiesysteem van twee tot drie maanden worden uitgevoerd, waaronder algemene chirurgie, gynaecologie, gastro-enterologie, vaatchirurgie, urologie en musculoskeletale chirurgie.<\/p>\n
Het chirurgisch centrum, dat via een speciaal aangelegde gang verbonden is met het hoofdgebouw van het ziekenhuis en zo een naadloze pati\u00ebntenstroom mogelijk maakt, zal naar verwachting minstens twaalf maanden in Glenfield gevestigd zijn en in eerste instantie vijf dagen per week operationeel zijn. Naast de twee operatiekamers en de verpleegafdeling zal Vanguard ook een unitco\u00f6rdinator leveren die zal samenwerken met een externe leverancier van klinisch personeel en de chirurgische teams van UHL.<\/p>\n
De oplossing is tot stand gekomen met behulp van mobiele klinische ruimtes. Dit omvat een mobiele operatiekamer met laminaire luchtstroom, naast een standaard operatiekamer en een verpleegafdeling met receptie, spreekkamers, personeelsfaciliteiten en een afdeling met zes tot acht bedden.<\/p>\n
Vanguard laminaire luchtstroomkamers worden ontworpen en gebouwd door Vanguard en omvatten een anesthesiekamer, een operatiekamer, een herstelruimte met twee bedden voor de eerste fase, een kleedkamer voor het personeel en technische ruimtes.
