De faciliteit zal worden gebruikt voor oogheelkundige ingrepen, waardoor er extra chirurgische capaciteit ontstaat binnen het hoofdgebouw van het ziekenhuis voor complexere ingrepen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De mobiele laminaire flowkamer, ontworpen, gebouwd en ge\u00efnstalleerd door Vanguard, omvat een anesthesiekamer, operatiekamer, herstelruimte voor de eerste fase, kleedkamers voor personeel en nutsvoorzieningen. De laminaire flowkamer van Vanguard produceert HEPA-gefilterde omgevingslucht, conform EUGMP-klasse A. De faciliteit zal zes dagen per week operationeel zijn en een jaar lang operationeel blijven, waardoor de Trust meer pati\u00ebnten kan zien en behandelen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nicola Wiles, Divisional Systems Resilience Lead en Improvement Coach bij Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, zei: &quot;Vanguard heeft de faciliteit medio februari naar Charing Cross Hospital gebracht en binnen vier weken waren we klaar om onze eerste pati\u00ebnten te verwelkomen.
