Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust har driftsatt tv\u00e5 mobila operationssalar f\u00f6r att uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla patienternas tillg\u00e5ng till tj\u00e4nster under renoveringen av tv\u00e5 av deras permanenta operationssalar.<\/p>\n

De kommer att f\u00f6rse sjukhusets kliniska personal med en fungerande klinisk milj\u00f6 medan deras operationssalar \u00e4r ur drift. De mobila operationssalarna, som har lamin\u00e4rfl\u00f6desventilationssystem f\u00f6r att ge ultraren luft l\u00e4mplig f\u00f6r invasiva kirurgiska ingrepp, kommer att vara p\u00e5 plats i cirka 26 veckor.\n\"A\nMedan enheterna \u00e4r p\u00e5 Trust kommer sjukhusets NHS-kirurger att utf\u00f6ra alla operationer. Stiftelsens egen personal kommer ocks\u00e5 att ta hand om patienter f\u00f6re och efter operationen. Detta inneb\u00e4r att patienter kommer att forts\u00e4tta att f\u00e5 behandling i en lokal akut milj\u00f6. Det undviker ocks\u00e5 att de beh\u00f6ver resa l\u00e5nga str\u00e4ckor till alternativa sjukhusplatser under renoveringen.<\/p>\n

\n Ortopediska ingrepp efterfr\u00e5gas\n<\/h3>\n

De mobila operationssalarna kommer fr\u00e4mst att tillhandah\u00e5lla kapacitet f\u00f6r ortopediska ingrepp. Dessa \u00e4r n\u00e5gra av de mest efterfr\u00e5gade operationerna inom den moderna NHS, med \u00f6ver 240 000 ingrepp under 2016\/17. Detta \u00e4r en \u00f6kning med \u00f6ver 20 000 j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med f\u00f6reg\u00e5ende \u00e5r.
