Delivery room for Wilhelmina hospital in Assen

At the Wilhelmina hospital in Assen in the Netherlands today, it is the official opening of the mobile delivery room from Q-bital Healthcare Solutions.

A Q-bital operating theatre has been modified to create the delivery room facility to complement the existing three rooms at the hospital. The hospital has been struggling for capacity over recent months. With the new delivery room, the hospital in Assen will absorb the expected increase of pregnant women from the region.

From tomorrow onwards, the delivery room will be officially put into service. The mobile delivery room has the same facilities as a normal delivery room, including birthing bed, partners couch, crib, and other essential care items for both mother and baby.
