IHEEM's Welsh Branch and NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Specialist Estate Services have joined together to deliver the annual Wales Regional Conference, Exhibition and Gala Awards Dinner. The theme is Navigating Uncertainty – Contingency and Resilience in Healthcare Estates, and, currently collaborating with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board to continue services during the extensive, emergency refurbishment of the Princess of Wales Hospital, Q-bital will be exhibiting and happy to discuss how we can help other Health Boards.
In under ten weeks Q-bital provided facilities, called 'the mini-hospital' by CTM staff, comprising four surgical rooms, two wards and an endoscopy complex, at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. You can read the case study and watch interviews with key Health Board here.
At our stand, Q-bital will demonstrate how the capability to install both modular-built and mobile facilities provides a unique offering to healthcare providers requiring additional or alternative capacity at pace, during planned or emergency refurbishments and periods of high demand.

Vanguard's mobile facilities such as endoscope treatment and sterilisation complexes, operating rooms, wards and clinics , can be operational within days.

Modular construction, utilising modern methods of construction, provides design flexibility and rapid installation, and as demonstrated last year at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, by combining mobile and modular facilities, Q-bital demonstrates a unique capability to exactly meet the healthcare provider's needs, cost-effectively and at unrivalled speed.
