Q-bital Healthcare Solutions welcomes Rebecca Lythe as Chief Executive Officer

< Back to news
Q-bital Healthcare Solutions is delighted to welcome Rebecca Lythe as Chief Executive Officer of the wider Q-bital Healthcare Solutions Group, as she takes up the role from 1 September 2026.

Rebecca joins the Group with extensive experience across healthcare leadership, strategy, transformation and operational delivery.

Most recently, she spent seven years with Specsavers Group, including more than four years as Managing Director of Newmedica, one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist eye care. During her time at Newmedica, Rebecca led the significant expansion of the organisation’s national footprint, working closely with healthcare commissioners and partners to increase access to high-quality patient care.

She also brings considerable experience from senior strategy, transformation and leadership roles at Specsavers and ASDA, following an earlier career with KPMG.

Her appointment comes at an exciting time for Q-bital as we continue to work with healthcare organisations internationally to address capacity constraints, modernise healthcare infrastructure and maintain access to essential clinical services.

Rebecca said:

“What attracted me to Q-bital is the opportunity to be part of the solution to help more patients. We have an experienced team, a strong track record and an ability to provide high-quality, low carbon healthcare environments quickly and flexibly, and at lower cost than traditional builds.

“I am passionate about working in partnership with healthcare providers to help their teams deliver more care for patients. My focus will be on maintaining high clinical quality, strengthening our partnerships, continuing to innovate and ensuring our strategy is closely aligned with what healthcare systems need from us.”

Q-bital provides flexible mobile and modular healthcare infrastructure designed around the needs of individual healthcare systems. Our facilities can help organisations introduce additional clinical capacity, maintain services during refurbishment and reconfiguration projects, and create new healthcare environments at pace.

Solutions include operating rooms, surgical hubs, endoscopy facilities, sterilisation and decontamination facilities, wards, diagnostic suites, outpatient clinics and emergency department solutions.

Dr Graham Rich, Chair of Q-bital Healthcare Solutions, said:

“Rebecca brings an exceptional combination of healthcare leadership, strategic capability and experience of growing high-quality clinical services. Importantly, she understands both the operational realities facing healthcare providers and the importance of working collaboratively with clinicians, commissioners and healthcare leaders.

“Q-bital and Q-bital have an important role to play in helping healthcare systems address capacity and infrastructure challenges, and I am delighted to welcome Rebecca to lead the business through its next phase of development.”

As CEO, Rebecca will lead the wider Vanguard Group, including the continued development of Q-bital Healthcare Solutions internationally.

Speaking about the opportunities ahead, Rebecca added:

“There is significant potential beyond our established UK healthcare business. I am excited by the continued development of Q-bital internationally and the opportunity to build on the expertise, relationships and track record already established across our international markets.”

We are delighted to welcome Rebecca and look forward to this next chapter as Q-bital continues to work in partnership with healthcare organisations around the world to create flexible, high-quality clinical environments and help more patients access the care they need.
